What I think sets me apart from other composers in the music industry today are five things:
1. Epic Violin/Viola Skills -- Check out my demo! I'm available for session work at a competitive rate.
2. Experience -- I have a unique and highly developed understanding of the symphonic orchestra that has come from 10+ years of professional orchestral experience, along with piles of music I've orchestrated, arranged, transcribed, and conducted.
3. Adaptability -- Music research is a passion of mine. After years of studying music as a hobby, I have developed a valuable knowledge of the core theoretical elements of music, this allows me to compose with a high quality in all genres.
4. Psychology -- Being self taught compositionally has given me a powerful 6th sense for the deepest communication of music: emotional response to sound. I have studied social psychology and have applied it in my methods of composition.
5. Uniqueness -- I have researched many genres of music, most of which are far from the realm of game or film. This has given me a much wider musical perspective, and has allowed me to develop an appealing style derived from all music, most of which is relatively unknown.
But most of all, I think I'm someone who's worth getting to know, because I genuinely care about people, I'm honest, friendly, hard working, and I love collaboration. It's my goal in life to compose music for games, and I know how relatively difficult that goal is to achieve, so here's to unwavering bullheaded determination.
